CranioSacral Therapy

Giving Thanks

In keeping with the spirit of Thanksgiving, this week’s blog is dedicated to thankfulness. I am very thankful to my clients and their families for trusting me to be a part of your lives! It is truly an honor! I also want to thank all those who have been a part of AZ Pranic Healing in any way this year. I truly appreciate your contributions and support!

Client Experience of Distance CranioSacral Therapy

When speaking to someone who is interested in Distance CranioSacral Therapy, but has not yet experienced this modality, a question that I often hear is: “What is it like?”. This is not an easy question to answer as everyone has a slightly different experience. Some individuals feel calming of the system, others feel pulsing or heat. Often there are subtle shifts in the body as it moves into an improved alignment. Although the shifts are subtle, they have a great impact on the person’s inner balance and overall health.

I would like to share with you one of my client’s experience of Distance CranioSacral Therapy sessions here so you get a better idea of what I am talking about:

CranioSacral Therapy Intensives

CranioSacral Therapy intensives are a concentrated amount of CranioSacral Therapy generally completed over one or more weeks. Sessions can be scheduled in a variety of ways: a few hours per day over the course of a week (or multiple weeks), or several sessions over a few days. These intensive sessions are a powerful way to quickly make changes.

CranioSacral Therapy after a Brain Injury or Stroke

After a brain injury or stroke you may consider getting physical therapy or speech therapy to help to regain lost abilities. These are amazing options (I am a speech language pathologist after all). However, although these therapies help to retrain the body/brain, how are you supporting the HEALING of the brain?

Supporting, Not Forcing, Healing

I have been asked many times, “Why do you do CranioSacral Therapy and Pranic Healing? They are so different.”

What has led me to study and practice both of these therapy modalities?

What is the similarity between CranioSacral Therapy and Pranic Healing?

The greatest commonality is that both modalities, when done correctly, are not forceful.
