Pranic Space Clearing

A New Year brings new opportunities and a chance to reflect and dream. As we aspire toward healthier and more productive lives, we make resolutions to improve ourselves. We resolve to eat better, exercise more, become organized, etc. Our realization of these goals is hampered by the negative energy of our environment. We absorb this energy, and it can take a toll on our mood, wellbeing, and even long-term physical, mental, and emotional health. If we look to improve ourselves in the new year, we should begin by improving the energy of our environment.

Energy is all around us and we can pick up this energy from our environment. It can be a mix of either clean/healthy/positive energy or dirty/used/negative energy. While it’s impractical to address the energy of the places we visit for short periods of time, keeping the areas where we spend more of our lives clear of negative energy is key to avoiding picking up or reabsorbing these energies. Think of how much time you spend in your home and place of work (if outside of the home). These are the areas that you want to make sure are clean and healthy environments to soak your energy system, which will absorb what it is exposed to.

Where does the dirty/negative energy come from? There are many potential sources for dirty/negative energy which include:

  • energy that is trapped due to negative events that have previously occurred on the land in which the home/office sits

  • energy from previous owners or tenets of the property

  • energy that others bring into the environment – anger, stress, anxiety, depression, fear, etc.

  • energy that you bring into the environment – anger, stress, anxiety, depression, fear, etc.

A good way to think about this is to picture fish living in an aquarium. If the aquarium water is kept clean, this is what the fish are breathing in and absorbing. Conversely, if the aquarium water is dirty, the fish are breathing in and absorbing this unhealthy water. This is a very good representation of what occurs when we are in an energetically clean environment or an energetically dirty environment.

An energetically dirty environment will not only affect the health of the energy system, but the mental, physical, and emotional health of the person as well. Keeping a clean energetic environment is essential to long-term health and happiness.

While there are many signs or reasons that you may need to energetically clear your home, here are some examples that I frequently hear:

  • Whenever I am at home, I feel depressed.

  • Since moving to my home something has changed or doesn’t feel right.

  • My mood changes for no reason when I am at home.

  • I become angry with my family for no reason.

  • My family and I are having nightmares.

  • Something feels “off”.

  • We have been arguing.

While there are many signs or reasons that you may need to energetically clear your work environment, here are some examples that I frequently hear:

  • I feel stressed the moment I walk into my office.

  • Everyone at work is angry or depressed.

  • There is a heaviness to my office.

  • My breathing changes when I walk into my office.
